ABOUT
Rianna is a highly motivated woodwind doubler (flute, saxophone, clarinet), based in South London. She is a successful musician, working as part of several orchestras and bands, including the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the Chineke! Orchestra and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, amongst performing with well-known artists, such as RAYE, Alicia Keys, Jorja Smith, Craig David, Beverley Knight and Clean Bandit.
Rianna teaches flute, saxophone and music theory to several pupils, both privately and in schools.

JULY-DEC 2024 The Royal Shakespeare's Company's Pericles, starring Alfred Enoch
The Royal Shakespeare Company performs Shakespeare’s stirring tale of love. Hope and miracles marks the RSC debut of Tamara Harvey, the Co-Artistic Director.
Rianna joins four other musicians playing the soundtrack to Pericles, written by director, composer and playwright, Claire van Kampen.
Known for his television work including How to Get Away With Murder as well as his acclaimed stage work including Red (Wyndham's), Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare's Globe) and Orlando in As You Like It (Soho Place), award-winning actor Alfred Enoch plays the title role of Pericles.
Pericles was on at the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon until the 21st of September; the production has now transferred to Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, as of the 20th October.
25TH MAY, 16TH JUNE 2024 RAYE World Tour/Capital FM’s Summertime Ball and headlining BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend
Rianna is now a tenor saxophone player on RAYE's World Tour! - She'll be travelling to Marrakesh, Bergen, Stockholm, Odense, and many more destinations!
Recently, RAYE also headlined BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend on the Main Stage. The festival had approximately 100,000 people attend across the three-day festival at Stockwood Park. Soon after this RAYE also performed at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball to 80,000 people at a sold-out Wembley Stadium.
MARCH 2024 RAYE at the BRIT Awards 2024, the Hilton Hotel, Jonathan Ross Show
Rianna joined RAYE and her band onstage at the BRIT Awards 2024. It was RAYE's night as she made history at the BRITs, winning six of the seven prizes she was nominated for - beating Blur, Adele and Harry Styles' record four wins at a single ceremony. She is also the first woman to win songwriter of the year.
Rianna also later joined her for a private event at a London Hilton Hotel, and at the BBC Studios filming a live performance of Worth It, for the Jonathan Ross Show!
9TH JUNE 2023 Windrush 75 @ The Royal Albert Hall
On Friday the 9th of June, Trevor Nelson presented a night of music to mark the 75th anniversary of Windrush and celebrate the impact of Caribbean culture on British life.
This one-off concert featured an array of guest stars, including Craig David, Beverley Knight, R&B group Loose Ends, saxophonist YolanDa Brown, calypsonian Tobago Crusoe, ‘G-folk’ pioneer Hak Baker and award-winning author and poet Salena Godden, all accompanied by the Chineke! Orchestra, conducted by Chris Cameron.
The concert captured the breadth of musical influence which the Windrush generation has had on British culture over the last 75 years, with performances including Loose Ends’ Hangin’ on a String, Hak Baker’s Windrush Baby, and Craig David’s Fill Me In, as well as renditions of classic tracks like Lord Kitchener’s London is the Place for Me, Bob Marley’s Is this Love, and Goldie’s Inner City Life.
The concert was broadcasted on BBC Radio 2, on Sunday 18th June, as part of the BBC’s programming to mark the Windrush anniversary.
