Alongside, hear a world premiere by RCM Composition Competition winner John William Griffith II.
To conclude is one of Haydn's London Symphonies, with its miliary style encapsulated in prominent brass fanfares. Its premiere in the Hanover Square Rooms was under the direction of Johann Peter Salomon, the musical impresario famous for introducing Haydn to the London stage.
